Which one should you buy?
The La Scala is fully horn-loaded, including the bass bin, which buys astonishing sensitivity and that jump factor horn people chase, at the cost of deep bass extension and a cabinet that looks like the PA gear it once was. The Cornwall goes deeper and passes as furniture. Sound-per-dollar, the La Scala has long been one of the best buys in vintage audio. Living-room politics and full-range bass favor the Cornwall.
